Notes & Combos

I love D-Link. On the real this deck is still pretty good. Started the diamond climb with Lightsworn Centur-ion until around D3 then I swapped. The climb was pretty smooth, not a lot of Yubel, mostly Tenpai, which honestly wasn't that bad of a matchup.

I'll mainly be talking about the Tenpai matchup just cause it's what came up the most.

  • If they hand trap you to death, just try and get out Seal with a few Bystials in hand, this also applies if you get Maxx'd. Druiswurm & Baldrake can be pretty good in the matchup but it all depends on timing.
  • If you can get combo, which is a lot easier to do now thanks to 3 Chaos Space and the Black/White dragons, just try and get out the standard board with Savage, Pater, & Borrelend, time the negates right and you should be able to survive one turn. If they do get out the 6000 atk dragon guy just hold on with Borrelend, you'll usually end with about 500 lp, then next turn find a way to remove it and boom you should be good.

Went on a run with this deck, but at first I was using this build for testing so ratios can be changed.

  • 2 Druiswurm might have been a little useless
  • Dharc never came up and neither did S:P just cause I didn't run into Yubel
  • I summoned Baron maybe once

Okay now the elephant in the room, Linkbelt Wall Dragon. First shout-out to Jesse Perez on YT, I got the idea from him, checkout his "3 Reasons why guardian slime is the secret to beating meta decks" video. But ya I swapped out Imperm for this card after only playing Tenpai. Drop the summon of this thing after summoning Borrelend, it helped in 1 duel agaisnt Tenpai but it needs further testing. It's also level 6 so it's good for synchro fodder, though I never went that line.
