Notes & Combos

This list is still for going first. A standard turn 1 endboard is IP + lib/elf and secret. If there are more link materials, I would summon an apollousa with IP and then revive IP with elf next turn. With poplar at 1, we have to be more careful about how to use the snake-eye engine. (e.g. use OSS to shuffle the poplar back to deck and then bring it back with ash's effect or bonfire)

Tech choices

  • Droplet makes the matchup against yubel, centurion and vv much easier. Usually tech cards that need to discard cards from hand do not work very well with mekks. However, with snake-eye engine, we can discard ash or poplar as the cost and then revive them with succession to start SE combo. WL S/T cards can also be used as the cost so that we can summon lib to start mekk combos.
  • Thrust can search OSS/bonfire/subversion/WL succession according to the situation; very flexible to use
  • Added one more ogre to deal with tenpai this month (though I haven't played many games against tenpai in the climbing)
