Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

VANQUISH SOUL BABY!! My first Master tier climb, and first time ever using VS but i couldn't have chose a more fun and satisfying to learn deck :D WARNING EXTREME RAMBLING AHEAD :D

OVERVIEW

This deck can be played both first and second, but you really want to go first to set up your card advantage/attributes in hand, link 1 (rock), and a snow devil trap at minimum to have the best chance of halting your opponenets plays.

THE DECK

Vanquish Soul Razen is the GOAT of not only setting up a great board, but also setting our hand up and letting you compete in the grind game. playing as many cards to search him as possible is recommended, Stake your Soul, Durendel, ROTA and (down to personal preferance) Small World. He can also destroy monsters in the same column as him (inluding your own).

Vanwuish Soul Dr. Madlove 9/10 times you're going to use her effect to search Snow Devil for its wall of text that basically says to your opponent "get rid of this card or you're screwed". her bounce effect has come in clutch a good amount of times as well.

Vanquish Soul Heavy Borger does it all, he can either tag out your VS monster to stack your hand up with even more attributes/handtraps or be a funny burn wincon which came up way more often than i thought it would.

Vanquish Soul Caesar Valius the big boss monster can be your ace monster in certain matchups with his abilitiy to tag out other VS monsters and quick effect to either be unaffected by opposing activated card effects or NON TARGETTING pop a card on the field.

Kashtira Package gives you good handtrap baits, while also giving you a fire attribute in hand in Riseheart. Bystials are just good dark attributes, and Magnamhut in particular can use it's end of turn ability to search Caesar. (Neat!)

-Handtraps: Shifter was just insane when it went through it and was usually ggs on its own. Maxx C, Ash and Ghost Belle all had their duels to pop off and Imperm felt manditory to play second against meta boards.

EXTRA DECK

Rock of the vanquisher was MVP obviously

Battlin' Boxer Dempsey didn't come up a single time but its hard to justify not having him when it comes to another way to get your starter just in case.

The only others that came up were Bagooska, Zeus package and Typhoon. so slot in whatever you want.
