As always: a network graph of the Small World bridges for this deck can be found at -

Since Maxx C has fewer outs this event, I expected a lot more "blind second enthusiasts", shall we say. So far that expectation has been met, so I'm running my old blind-second mirror tech of Smoke Mosquito and a full set of Small World for additional potential copies when forced first. As a level 1 monster geared toward XYZ plays, it's not that bad of a normal summon in Lyrilusc's gameplan, so I'm pretty happy with it.
Other than that, it's a pretty by-the-numbers Lyrilusc deck. Basically: get enough material on Assembled Nightingale that she can direct attack enough times to OTK. Some potential considerations for leading up to that:
- Recital Starling can search an additional (probably Lyrilusc) monster. If you can draw Bird Sanctuary or search for it with Wagtail in order to attach Recital under Assembled this is a net plus in materials.
- With Sanctuary, lethal with just 4 materials can be done if Assembled can safely be summoned first: 2 material Assembled + 2 material Recital (no detach effect) + Recital itself = 5 material Assembled at 5×200 + 2×300 (ATK boost from Recital's on summon effect) = 1600ATK → 8000 damage on the nose.
- Promenade Thrush is a similar consideration as Recital, just an enemy spell/trap spin instead of searching for a material. Decently handy since Giant Ballpark can be disuptive.
- Cobalt Sparrow as a material prevents the XYZ from being targetted, useful for disallowing last-minute Impermances and the like.
- Beryl Canary as a material gives 200 ATK, which brings down the required materials on Assembled to OTK from 7 to 6 under typical circumstances (6×6×200 = 7200 damage, vs 6×(6×200+200) = 8400 damage)
- Stoic Challenge brings down the materials required to four, almost three (3×(3×200+3×600) = 7200 damage), which is potentially relevant versus decks that self-burn for 1k.
- Back-Up Rider is almost always better (and cheaper!) because it also brings the required materials to OTK down to four (4×(4×200+1500) = 9200 damage) but is not an equip spell that's vulnerable to removal. I lost my streak to Ancient Warriors because they could bounce Stoic with Double Dragon Lords. However big number = dopamine so I'm leaving in Stoic for now.

I tried the insect OTK with Mother Spider in duel rooms before the event, but I don't think it's quite as capable since a set or link monster can can seriously mess up lethal. I wanted to run insect OTK since it seemed like an obvious choice for Small Worlding to Smoke Mosquito. But then I realized Gadarla makes Smoke Mosquito just as universally accessible in Lyrilusc and never looked back. 👍
