Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code

  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

THEME CHRONICLE DARK MAGICIAN

Here's my Dark Magician deck for the Theme Chronicle event! We don't have our usual bosses like Dragoon here, so you have to get creative. This was a fun event and I feel I learned a lot from playing it for future DM decks!

COMBOS

As usual, Magicians Souls is your main card to get things going, since she works well with Rainbow Bridge, Toy Box, Chicken Game, and Magician's Restage. Apprentice Magician is your 2nd most useful card, she works with Rainbow Bridge and Magician's Restage. She's also your most reliable out to Avramax.

MAGICIANS' SOULS + MAGICIAN'S RESTAGE Activate Magicians' Souls, mill DM or DMG, summon DM or DMG back. Activate Magician's Restage, summon back Magicians' Souls from the Graveyard. Magicians' Souls effect, send Restage (and other Spell/Trap you may need to discard) to the graveyard to draw 2. Restage's effect in Graveyard, search for Magician's Left or Right hand (Spell or Trap negate, you choose)

MAGICIANS' SOULS + TOY BOX Toy Box is the most popular tech in DM decks so I don't think I have to explain much. Manju is your search target here, and that can get you a search with Illusion of Chaos, and/or a Ritual Summon (Actually using Illusion of Chaos for disruption!) depending on your hand.

APPRENTICE ILLUSION MAGICIAN + RAINBOW BRIDGE OF SALVATION Discard Rainbow Bridge to summon Apprentice Illusion. Apprentice effect, search DM. Rainbow Bridge effect, search Magician's Salvation and Topaz Tiger. Summon Topaz Tiger, link into I:P Masquerena. Activate Salvation, set Eternal Soul. Next turn summon DM and link with IP Masquerena into a disruption. Usually your hand lets you extend much further than this though.

END BOARD

This deck can consistently put out 3 disruptions (2 with sub optimal hands). Usually your end board is I:P Masquerena + a combination of Giant Hand, or Eternal Soul + Circle, or Illusion of Chaos, or Aiwass the Magistus Spell Spirit (Snatch Steal in a monster, basically. Summon with Secrets of Dark Magic + DM or DMG + Artemis the Magistus Moon Maiden), or the Magician's Right and/or Left hand for negates. Your target to summon with I:P Masquerena is usually Azalea Temperance, who equips an opponent's monster so make sure to have a Spell/Trap zone free! (Ideally you'd summon Knightmare Unicorn, but I don't have him & don't want to craft him just for this event lol)

If you have him, I'd recommend running Avramax in this deck too!
