Notes & Combos

First time trying out Gold Pride. Originally took the list that Zalda submitted and changed things around as I played.

I only have 1 Upstart Goblin at the moment, which is why I didn't try it out. Also didn't realize how decent Ready Fusion might have been in the deck until I got my 5 win streak.

Wanted to try out "pure" (without P.U.N.K. cards) first to see how it would feel and since I crafted a royal Tour Guide while making the deck. As others probably know/have found out on their own, I had issues lowering my LPs at all on my turn before getting to Chariot Carrie, which made me miss out on her foolish effect, which made Leon always feel a bit mid on my first turn.

I might have dropped That Came out of Nowhere, however, I did see some of Silver's replays and it seemed really neat as a search off of Chariot Carrier, so I kept it in. Probably wasn't worth it in this build though.

Ended up dropping Fuwalos since I kept opening it while going first, drawing it while going second against a deck that didn't care about it like Eldlich/Subterror, or it was negated when it would matter. It definitely did not help on not bricking with dead cards. At least with the P.U.N.K. version, you can discard it with Foxy Tune.

At the end of the day, I would definitely not recommend this build without removing some of the more niche/bricky cards and adding more cards that modulate your LPs like Upstart/Ready Fusion/etc.

I still liked how the deck played when it got to play though.
