Notes & Combos

In a format without Maxx "C" or Ash Blossom, this deck proved to be surprisingly consistent.

It struggles against backrow removal such as HFD and Evenly Matched, which is why cards like the Vaylantz field spells are included. They actually helped break boards going second, too. Solemn Judgement is an all-around good card to fill in any holes in the strategy. The LP cost is negligible as turn 1 is crucial for this (and any deck), so be sure to go all in. You should be able to OTK the following turn anyway.

Majespecters also struggle when Infinite Impermanence is used on their link 2. In addition to the aforementioned Vaylantz cards, other options to prevent this include: the spell cards Link into the VRAINS! and Sky Striker Mecha - Eagle Booster. I went with the latter as it is the cheaper and better option in my opinion. It can always serve as discard fodder for the field spell search in case it goes unused.

Grand Spiritual Art - Ichirin deserves its own shout-out. While the loss of Secret Village is a bummer, this is a legitimately good field spell to seach. Despite all the interruption power this deck has, it actually only has 1 in-archetype negate, so having access to a free negate every turn is a welcomed addition. Just be mindful of its activation requirement and play to it accordingly. Note: Ranryu is there to be searched by Spiritual Art to remove any duplicate wind monsters you don't want in your hand (like 2 Drolls) and to shuffle Kirin back into the deck.

Overall, this was a very fun deck to play. A good endboard can consist of a monster negate, a solemn strike (basically), a monster banish, a monster bounce, and Droll if you drew into it. Most of your cards will also have protection from targeting and destruction, both by card effects and by battle. As for the ED - You only really need 1 Dinoster Power, 2 Majespecter Draco, and 2 Majespecter Orthrus. The other cards are mostly there to be banished by Pot of Prosperity.

I took inspiration from other Majespecter decks, lots of research, some ideas of my own and trail and error. If I missed anything, feel free to mention it in the comments. Enjoy!
