Notes & Combos
I like the fish, i like doing synchros, simple as. Ghoti is not the best deck by a large margin, but, man, it really is fun to play and is shifter-friendly (even tough you lose some plays with arionpos).
One of the advantages of Ghoti is that if you get maxx C on your turn, you can still just make arionpos using either shif or zep and pass if you banish a either paces or shif. You must only worry if the oponent maxx "C" on its own turn since you spam synchros and special summons to disrupt them.
Besides that, you can aswell play around the tuners ratios and even add Ear hops to acces the non-fish synchros on the opposing turn.

Against Floowandereeze (Z-ONE)
The biggest advantage you have against Floo decks is that you don't depend on links and can disrupt then even when chain block and then you can clear the board with deep beyond (if they don't quit first).
Against Tearlaments (DMC)
Shifter is a must in this meta and hurts both Ghoti and Tear, the latter becomes unplayable unlike Ghoti, so you can setup unlike them.
