Notes & Combos

Branded players keep this on the down low.

I strongly believe this deck to be superior to traditional branded in the current meta. Hits to saronir, nadir servant, and branded opening have made branded weaker in both consistency, and in playing into interaction. You just don't consistently have enough in your hand to play through most boards or handtraps.

In my normal branded deck, I never ran super poly in favor of the 1 card nadir servant puppet lock combo, but hits to nadir servant made that strategy less and less viable, esp. as snake eyes endboards kept getting stronger.

Figuring out the proper md and ed ratios took a lot of testing, but this is what I came up with. You can opt to run 2 albion or 2 graguinol instead of alba-lenatus (he's lowkey there for the contact fuse memes), and you could replace guardian chimera for borreload fusion dragon, though this deck has so many ash magnets that I think chimera is easier to get & resolve.

As you may have guessed, the main point of this deck is to gas through interactions & hand traps. Branded already is fairly nonlinear, this is that but like 10x. I've been playing only using this deck for a while now, and I've yet to hit the ceiling. Be wise.

Some general tips If your hand allows it, puppet lock allows you to play through maxx c, though lack of nadir servant makes it less consistent.

This deck takes advantage of fusion deployment to special summon reinoheart from deck, which can be used to either make a quick rulkalos for nibiru protection (not that branded struggles against nib), or to mill 10 to potentially search for branded spells from gy.

Another interesting combo is branded in high spirits + havanis/scheiren is a 2 card combo towards either milling or making rulkalos.

Branded Fusion can be used to bridge to tearlaments using lubellion the searing dragon, though make sure you have the proper fusion materials.

Branded opening's discard effect triggers tearlaments card effects, albaz & lubellion do not.

Lubellion's shuffle back from banish is actually really useful, I might consider running 2 at some point though you lose a lot of cards with discard.

Overall, you have infinite handtrap/interaction baits, you can get 4 cards negated and as long as you resovle thrust/grass you still just win the game. This deck hinges on how well you understand all the cards, and there are no linear combos outside of branded fusion. Gl.
