Notes & Combos
Every month, I make a new improvement to the deck. It's fun!
The premise of the deck is that it's like regular Earth Machine, but with a lot of one-card FTKs: SHS Prodigy Wakaushi, Bike, Wagon, Soulpiercer, Machina Gearframe, and Machina Metalcruncher can all FTK on their own. And Vernusylph are there for if they get interrupted. Overall, about an 85% chance of FTKing going first against no handtraps.
It's very hard to play though. You do need to be good with basic Earth Machine to begin with, because if the combo gets interrupted, you still have a lot of options. This isn't a you-combo-or-you-lose win.

The big improvements this month are:
- Cut Infinitrack Dozer and Infinitrack River Stormer entirely. After some more labbing, I've discovered combos for every hand that doesn't use them. Replaced with Sargas, for the extra option to negate (and protection against Nibiru, if you open Gearframe + Prodigy)... though I'm still not sold on it.
- Less handtraps, more going-second cards. Handtraps just... weren't very effectively stopping opponents. Maybe I'm just not good enough at knowing what to interrupt, but either way, I'm having a lot more luck with Droplets and Urgent Schedule instead.
- Urgent Schedule and Machina Citadel. I dismissed the former earlier because it turns off SHS Prodigy and Scarecrow, but after labbing some more: it's a one-card OTK, if it summons Soulpiercer and combos off that way. And Urgent Schedule means Machina Citadel is worth it now!
- Swapped Derricrane for Bullet Train. Derricrane's pop just wasn't doing much.
