Notes & Combos
As always, for more in-depth information as to how this deck plays, you can look at my previous lists submitted on here.
DLv Max isn't too hard to get so this deck list is mainly just an update to the Runick Spright deck I've found most success with these past few months. Don't have an exact win percentage, but to give a general idea, I went 14-6 (70%) in my last 20 matches to DLv Max.
Biggest changes:
-
Promethean Princess
- YOUR TURN: Main line is to summon Promethean with Elf + 1, bring back Elf/Carrot/Red, and then summon into Elf again. Do this only on turn 3+ since she really helps in the grind game.
- THEIR TURN: When they summon a monster that would activate Promethean's effect, activate that effect, target Elf/Red/Carrot, activate I:P and use I:P and the target to make S:P or Goddess. If you don't have I:P on board, having a free pop is still useful when it's very late in the game.
- You can infinitely recycle Elf with Promethean's effect so being limited by 2 in your ED is not a big deal.
- Disclaimer: Be VERY careful on using her when facing a fire deck as they can (and will) use her against you better than you can against them. I advise you to never summon Princess against a fire deck unless you are 110% certain they won't be able to steal/use her.
- Credit to GelsenHandy for giving me the idea of trying out Princess.
-
Other ED Changes
- S:P Little Knight
- Obvious addition. Little Knight is my I:P summon 99.9% of the time now over Goddess.
- Sleipnir
- Forces out a negate on your turn.
- Can save you in their Battle Phase.
- Removed ED Monsters
- Never used them and newer cards were a lot more useful.
- S:P Little Knight
-
Gamma package over Nibiru & Talents
- Gamma plays better against the current fire meta decks. Gamma on SnAsh is a lot more effective in ending their turn compared to Nib. Talents is always useful but just not needed as much this meta compared to Gamma.
- Gamma is very useful in preventing Maxx C as they'll activate it immediately after you use a Runick quick-play. You still don't have a monster on board which means a free Gamma.
- If summoned this way, you already have full combo since Gamma is a level 2.
- Hugin discard also means the PSY-Frame brick doesn't hurt your opening hand.
-
Jet to 2
- Very valuable having a second Jet. Helps consistency and the deck regains more of it's recyclability.
Replays
Replays: 002-996-900
Don't have any new replays saved (praying for them to let us save more replays).
The deck plays the same as my older replays so if you need an idea as to how the deck plays or what the combos are, watching them will give you good insight.
