The Deck

This WCS I decided to throw a curve ball (mostly because I didn’t had enough UR CP for Snake-Eyes Fire King) and played Traptrix, one of the decks I fell in love after the recent support (leading me to buy it on the TCG as well).

The Climb

Ho boy… the climb to DL. Max was… unique shall we say. Most matches were fairly consistent to outsmart and out resource my opponents while a few… (I didn't had many matches with Snake-Eyes and it's variants but the times I did I managed to get by.)

The traps

As could be seen, my deck is heavily focused on traps; meaning there are a lot of options to play around here.

1. Gravedigger’s Trap Hole: One of the reasons I got this far; counters Poplar in hand and GY alongside Raye and even Flamberge
2. Time Space Trap Hole: Can cause some damage to opponents, do not underestimate this card.
3. Chain Hole: Despite not being a trap hole itself, it can be set with Sera and WILL cause damage. If your opponent doesn’t banish a card from deck, you will force them to banish a random card from hand (I won against tearlaments because I banished his Havnis)
4. Terrifying Trap Hole Nightmare: pretty niche card to play around especially if you’re playing against decks that heavily require the GY; not only you can destroy a 2K special summoned monster but also banish from GY as long as you have one trap hole in your GY.
5. Evenly Matched: End of Battle Phase -> Activate Evenly Matched. Response? (Serously, nobody expects this.)

The Extra Deck

Honestly there were some monsters I rarely used, mostly you just want to use your Traptrix monsters from the ED; however, I can’t say I didn’t use other monsters such as Bagooska and Zeus, they are a nice addition such as the niche Exciton Knight.

Evaluation

Overall, nothing changed compared to Ranked; besides being extremely annoying to deal with stun players and runick stun players.
