I decided to use Vaylantz for my climb to DLv.Max.
The deck has really good matchups vs most decks going first if you can set up Secret Village and a Fossil Dyna together with a Field Spell to prevent Impermanence or Evenly Matched. The addition of Exceed the Pendulum has really helped setting up Arktos XII in addition to that. That board is basicly an FTK vs all meta exept Labrynth, luckily I only ran into 1 or 2 of those for my climb.
Going second you generally want to keep Shinonome in hand and break as much of the board as possible before committing to her. Your Field Spell is a very strong form of removal that does not trigger a lot of floating. It also outs the Fire King Field Spell without destroying it so that it cant be saved by Sanctuary.
I decided against the SHS Wakaushi engine just because if you go for it and your enemy uses Imperm or Veiler on Electrumite you have one of your Pendulum Zones clogged up and in some hands that is devastating.
Nibiru barely came up as an interruption but was an amazing small world bridge together with Veiler.
The only change I would make to the deck is cutting Unicorn for a second Beyond The Pendulum cause Unicorn never came up and Beyond is not once per turn. Also for me personally Zeus never came up but it still can be necessary occasionally.
