Notes & Combos

Howdy! Still workshopping this, in particular Zoo ED ratios. For now though I'm submitting as a winstreak, and will write about some card choices.

15 Zoos:

This is also not standard, and typically considered too many. I've found in gameplay that having more Zoos means (obviously) more consistency in creating the big boards you want to make. UDF, Lancer, and Drident.

Ratpier is Drident+Lancer.

Ratpier+Whiptail is Drident+Drident+Lancer.

Ratpier+Barrage is UDF+Drident+Lancer.

Other combinations that make these boards I hope can be inferred (such as Thoroughblade+Zoo hands, etc.)

Rivalry of Warlords:

Best floodgate for this format, unfortunately has anti-synergy with Armored XYZ and UDF lines, it could be cut but I consider it powerful enough to stay.

Called By The Grave:

Typically not run in Zoodiac because if going first, you Drident pass or just pass under Maxx "C", and going second Ash Blossom+Dimension Shifter make for 5 cards that beat Maxx "C" for your Zeus push. However, I'm finding I want my Turn 1 combos to go through more, and also finding that it's one of the best answers to curb Snake-Eyes follow-up when pushing through their board going second. You can CBTG Flamberge to cut them off of it, and you can CBTG Promethean Princess to beat the pop if you didn't draw Kataroost or Barrage.

Highest Ceiling Combo:

Ratpier+Barrage:

• Normal Summon Ratpier, sending Ramram for its effect.
• Overlay Ratpier for Chakanine, use Chakanine effect to revive Ramram.
• Overlay Chakanine for Drident, use Drident effect to pop Ramram.
• Ramram effect to revive Chakanine.
• Overlay Drident for Tigermortar.
• Tigermortar effect to give Chakanine a material, use Chakanine effect to revive Drident.
• Overlay Tigermortar and Chakanine for F0 Utopic Future. This checks for Nibiru before using Barrage.
• Overlay F0 Utopic Future for F0 Utopic Draco Future.
• Activate Zoodiac Barrage, use Barrage effect to pop itself and summon any Zoodiac, then use Barrage GY effect to attach to Drident.
• Overlay the Zoodiac for Hammerkong.
• Overlay Hammerkong for XYZ Armor Fortress, use Fortress effect to add Armored XYZ and Full-Armored XYZ.
• On opponent's turn, Full-Armored XYZ for Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer.

Endboard: UDF+Drident+Lancer, Drident is battle protected via Full-Armored XYZ.
