Notes & Combos

This was so painful to 5 streak with but that may be a skill issue on my part since a lot of my dangers snipe. you can add more or less orcust cards as you wish but typical endboard is Selene with SV (spell lock), Galatea with Crescendo (omni), I:P, Apo and Sleeper with Super Agent in GY with 1-3 rescues based on how hard you popped off.

Pros:

  • KM mermaid is just e-tele into orcust lines off of any knightmare. If you get drolled and have hand traps left over, I:P + Gala + Crescendo with Maxx or Ash in hand is still a strong board and it has won me games. It also makes people scoop which is why I have no replays of this deck smh
  • Curious is easy to make with Orcust KM, MP, and linkuriboh. If mermaid is negated and you cant access Orcust KM, curious can still take you to the orcust or SV set up with KM unicorn or a danger.
  • It is based! Dingirsu send Dragoon go brrrr

Cons:

  • Orcust cards do nothing on their own if you draw them and you have 4 of them. Fortunately dangers, ravine and KMs make the discards easier but in your hand they may as well just be vanilla monsters or droplet fodder.
  • In this high HT meta dangers don't really bait anything going first compared to SE SPYRAL. In a lot of cases if the dangers are able to get you into curious, goblin or selene, you are going to have to sacrifice one of those lines to a patient imperm and have a plan b in your GY or your hand. but dangers are still great going 2nd as they are free bodies that help you brute force established boards with Knightmares.
  • Dangers do make you die harder to droll; however, as stated above, Mermaid i an easy in to the Orcust lines, so you are unlikely to end on nothing.

all that being said, it is still super fun and pretty cheap if you miss danger spyral. I still had a lot of fun with it!
