Notes & Combos
Vaguely based on an OCG topping list I saw on roadoftheking during Tear meta. The non-backrow decks of the meta are unbelievably unprepared for a Rexterm appearing in what at first looks like a normal dino list. Tutoring Therizia from the deck is simply huge, giving you a play under droplet/dark ruler or simply letting you end on something if your hand is relatively bricked.
Likewise, Lithosagym can win you games on the spot, Miscellaneosaurus is as amazing as always, and while DD Crow would be devastating if used on misc, nearly everyone currently opts for bystials instead, making their dumb dragons worthless in hand.
I will likely climb to Master 1 with this list, but may resubmit it.
Combo: ovi + baby, misc + ovi, misc + baby, or archosaur + baby all streamline into the same stuff. I'll use misc + baby in this example, as it's the one I go into most often. If you need examples of the other lines, I think any dino guide will show you every other variation of the basic 2 card combo.
I will bold the parts of the combo that might differ from most other dino lists.
- pitch Miscellaneosaurus to the grave.
- Banish Misc to summon Animadorned Archosaur from the deck.
- Archosaur pop Babycerasaurus in hand, add Double Evolution pill.
- Baby effect, summon Souleating Oviraptor from deck. Use its effect to add Petiteranodon.
- Normal summon Petiteranodon, then use ovi to pop it, reviving baby.
- Petiteranodon summons Dinomorphia Therizia from the deck, which sets Dinomorphia Frenzy. If you hard drew Frenzy, you can opt for Giant Rex instead, which will also get you IP Masqeurena on your endboard.
- Link Animadorned Archosaur for Linkuriboh, then use Linkuriboh and Babycerasaurus to make Spright Elf.
- Spright Elf revives Petiteranodon. If Giant Rex is on board, use it and Giant Rex for IP.
- Use Double Evolution Pill to summon either UT or Qoatlus.
- Make a Rank 4 (Dweller or one of the Evolzars) with the remainder of your board.
This gives you a route into Rexterm as well as a Dinowrestler Pankratops (from the deck off of popping Petiteranodon) on the opponent's turn.
