Notes & Combos

Okay, I know I say every deck is awesome, but this one's AWESOME.

First and foremost, how does the deck play?

This deck is what I thought SE pure was going to be before people started doing the synchro lines. 7/10 games I didn't put up a single negate, 2/10 I put up a negate, and 1/10 games I put up 2-3 negates (snake-eye's fault). Almost all of my interaction were pops. Promethean pop, Kirin pop, Hyang wipe as a final interrupt, Sky burn on the crackback for 2-4 pops turn 3, Amblowhale pop (amblo is so good in this deck I'll get to this later). This deck puts up so much interruption, is incredibly hard to kill during battle (everybody floats), demolishes boards on turn 3, and most importantly, it's so much fun.

Oh, and, as a noted tear enjoyer, I am pleased to announce the mirror is INSANE. Because almost all of our interactions are pops, we have to be really careful when using our interruptions. ORRRR, we just go insane and we're both plusing off of each other and having a great time until someone summons Hyang and nukes the field. Such a great mirror. You never truly feel out of playing when you're facing this deck.

(ok so I was going to do an in-depth look at each card and their ratios but I ran out of space so here's the notable stuff)

The snake eye cards are great for chewing through handtraps and non-engine. There's a great line from N3sh (link in description) if you start with Ash that lets you end on Appo and Duelittle before you summon a single fire king card, which is very silly. I slightly modified it to weave in linkuriboh which helped sometimes.

I want to note that this is first and foremost a Fire King deck, not a snake-eye deck. IP's in here but I NEVER ended on her, I only rarely ended on Appo, yadda yadda. The Fire King cards are so great at playing through anything, and chewing up boards. Sky burn, Kirin, Ulcanix (ULCANIX CAME UP ALMOST EVERY SINGLE GAME IDK HOW PEOPLE WANT TO CUT IT), they're all crazy.

This deck is super fun, and interactive in a way that pure SE just isn't. Anyways, that's about it. Peace!
