Notes & Combos

Credit to Hyorin, Jayfeather and Shyneet for the base of this list. I switched some cards for techs and packages I like.

Main Deck:

• I'm unsure about the ratios of Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer, Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon and Duelist Alliance.
• The Chronograph Sorcerer + Timegazaer Magician package was originally 3 Performapal Monkeyboard but I like Chronograph more at the moment.
• Monkeyboard can be 1 card scales or 1 card Electrumite but it can be awkward if the search is negated and you can't remove it from the pend zone. I might just need more time to get used to Monkeyboard.
• Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver is mainly there for the Exodia matchup. You can go Joker search Dissolver, Joker attack Exodia or another monster if they have one to take less damage, summon Dissolver at the start of the Damage Step which protects Joker and plays around Heart of the Blue-Eyes. Main Phase 2, try to use Dissolver's monster eff to make Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon using it and Joker. They have to board wipe you here or Vortex will return Exodia to their Extra Deck on summon.

Extra Deck:

• Magician of Hope can be added to more easily enable Pendulum Evolution's 2nd pend summon. Bagooska or Dweller can be cut for it.
• Neither Ignister Prominence or Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing come up that often but I like having at least 1 of them for going 2nd. They can also be summoned with Supreme King Gate Zero's monster eff with their effects negated in a pinch. For example, to replace your low scale with Gate Zero or for S:P Little Knight material.

Going 2nd: This is still mostly a coin flip deck. There are almost no hand traps and its unlikely to beat a meta deck that full combos. There are a lot of going 2nd tools vs everything else though. Such as:

• Purple Poison Magician
• Vaylantz field spells
• Triple Tactics Talent
• Performapal Celestial Magician's monster eff when you control a Synchro to turn off opponent's monster effs for the turn.
• Double Iris Magician and Purple Poison Magician's pendulum effects to deal lots of damage when attacking a low ATK or DEF monster with a Dark Spellcaster.
• Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom's gives your monsters piercing damage after it copies something. This can be combined with the Iris & Poison pend effs.
• Starving Venom copying Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon's eff in the GY to shuffle everything back into the deck.
• Extra Deck monsters.

Gotta use 100% of your brain and timer going 2nd.
