Notes & Combos

Once again making it with this season, but with Lab this time usually playing to how I prefer to use them for the most part and that's playing 60 cards.

Overall the deck is more of the same staples, but as this format has already been showing, Tenpai consistently shows up, therefore I'm playing cards to not only handle them, but other decks in mind.

I'll only talk about the tech cards of my choice, but if you have any questions anything else, feel free to ask.

Artifact Sanctum/Scythe - We're trying everything that we can to prevent decks like Tenpai from accessing the ED that includes Link monsters especially where Dimensional Barrier can't prevent them from being summoned, so you want to make sure this card goes off Scott-free. Another benefit with Scythe is, if you keep bouncing it back and setting it to pop with your Welcome Trap cards with Labirynth Labrynth on board, so that could come up.

Dimensional Barrier - Of course with Tenpai around again, this is to make sure they don't go into their powerful Synchro monsters, but even in the ladder, you can still prevent certain decks like the new Melodious from summoning their Fusion monsters or a hybrid in which were to play them as an overall Pendulum combo deck where calling Pendulum is the best way to stopping them overall.

Magic Deflector - A majority of decks are playing a good amount of quick-play Spells well-knowingly CBTG that can just be used to prevent some of your cards like your Furnitures, Arias, Maxx C, etc from resolving, so that can come up, but this is to also hinder Tenpai or other decks using their key cards like Tenpai's Sangen Summoning/Kamien, Yubel's Nightmare Throne/Pain or Gates, and even Voiceless Voice's Blessing/Barrier. There's a good amount of decks that will rely on their own types of Spells in order to play.

Ichiroku's Ledger Book - Honestly, I've really liked how well this card has been working out where not many decks can handle their monsters being temporarily banished, hindering their plays and possibly ending their turn there. Use this card wisely when having to take control of the board.

I think that's about it. Some cards should be self-explanatory in why they're being ran, but something like Waking The Dragon can always be swapped. That was just for the fun of it, but I've managed to have it triggered a couple of times which was funny. Aside from that, again if you have questions, ask away and I'll answer them as best as I can. Hope this helps!
