Notes & Combos
So... Scareclaw is actually pretty good into Tenpai. Scareclaw Tri-Heart is tough for Tenpai to deal with and then still go for lethal in the same turn. You can often just kill them in the crackback. Tenpai is the most common deck in Master, so I built this deck to go first with that in mind. Maxx C gets the cut because as powerful as it is, it does not actually stop plays unlike Ghost Ogre or Veiler.
The Kashtira engine eats up so many handtraps and you can use the leftover bodies to make Tri-Heart. Unicorn in particular is very good to banish the one-of Tenpai extra deck Synchros. The ideal end board is two Tri-Heart, set Twinsaw, Arrival GY protection, and as many Kashtira bodies as you have leftover. Baronne over the second Tri-Heart if you can can access Visas Starfrost.
If you know you are facing Tenpai, I recommend just taking the Maxx C challenge to get to at least the Link-3. All of the main deck monsters are inherent summons, so you can often get 1-2 bodies on board before the opponent drops Maxx C. Talents is good here to (hopefully) try to rip their only out to Tri-Heart. Black Goat is the better Thrust target over Dimensional Barrier because calling Chundra is already pretty impactful and it is better into more decks.
