Notes & Combos
Hey y’all. I managed to get a winstreak playing Wind-Up again, and this time, it was an ftk strategy. Ftk’s aren’t really my thing, but I heard this is one of the better decks at producing the topologic+samsara loop, and wanted to try it. Lo’ and behold, this makes ignknight ftk look like garbage. When Zenmaity comes to 2, this variant is actually terrifying. You can play through handtraps like effect veiler and ash fairly well, even when they are well timed. However, Imperm and nibiru, even if poorly timed, can ruin your day. The reason why imperm is more relevant than veiler is because topologic will resolve in the end phase, and we can get negated there by imperm. Effect veiler and other graveyard effects like ash aren’t that great because we can put up a toadally awesome half-way through our play, or we can put up a millennium eye restrict with instant fusion. Nibiru is still really scary. You can also run hand traps instead of into the voids and upstarts, I just wanted more consistency. If you want to watch how to play this deck, my player id is:741-344-882.
