Notes & Combos
Not great, but playable. Always went blind 2nd.
Pros:
- OTK with Infinity + Nova + CyDra
- Multiple ways to get rid of Flying-C
- Infinity + Zeus is a pretty good T2 end board if you can't OTK
- Got plays if forced to go first
Cons:
- Maxx-C exists
- Kinda bricky
Outside of the Maxx-C minigame package and Flying-C, which is just absurdly broken in a XYZ-Event, breakers seemed better to me as they enable you to more easily OTK. Dark Hole is especially valuable as it can get rid of Flying-C on your side of the field and can get you a CyDra in GY for Repair Plant. Droplet would be good for the same reason but no space. Didn't wanna cut LS for it due to Labyrinth being very popular.
Gizmek Yata was the absolute MVP as it gets you a CyDra in GY for Repair Plant and the extra NS can get rid of Flying-C. Solar Wind as a free body helps with getting to your Rank 5s, especially Dice Smasher going first. Only went with 2 Dupe as i drew all 3 without a target in one of my first games so i just rage cut 1. In general MD ratios can for sure be improved but they are ogey.
For the ED:
- Princess & Centaurea help you go into Zeus if you have weird brick hands while having the most useful generic effects for Ranks 1/2s
- Downerd makes that Zeus a 4x instead of a 3x mat
- Dice Smasher is pretty good if you are forced to go first if you can make it with 3x (Auovix certified)
- Vespenato to out stuff like Crooked Cook
- Zenmaioh & Adreus were kinda neat for clearing backrow. Only run Adreus cuz i got him from Legacy Packs and wouldn't craft him just for this event but he was pretty useful.
All the other stuff i didn't even summon once but they were the best non UR options i could think of, if you have stuff like Pleiades just replace the one that sounds the worst to you.
